Subject: Sullivan appeared on t-v
Lee Sullivan, besides, having featured roles in Broadway musicals and making film shorts, had his own television show in the 1950's.

Subject: Once In A While
A very popular 1930's song. The talented, youthful tenor, Lee Sullivan, has a pleasant voice and an excellent relaxed personality. I like his acting response to the woman who sits next to him.
He starred on Broadway in the following musicals: Brigadoon [Charlie Dalrymple] Mar 13, 1947 - Jul 31, 1948
The Time, the Place and the Girl [Tom Cunningham] Oct 21, 1942 - Oct 31, 1942
High Kickers [Jimmy Wilberforce] Oct 31, 1941 - Mar 28, 1942
Walk With Music [Henry Trowbridge] Jun 4, 1940 - Jul 20, 1940
I am surprised he didn't reach star status.

Subject: Mystery solved
The singer in this soundie is Lee Sullivan, and this soundie is an excerpt from a 1938 short comedy entitled "Air Parade" in which the woman, Niela Goodelle, is seen in the "Ten Pretty Girls" soundie.

Subject: The Sequel
What a surprise to find the sequel of 'Soundie M'. The man who suddenly appears at the girl singer's side at the end of that reel is the one who sings here. She obligingly sits down on the steps and gives him entranced gazes. This Soundie needs to be mirrored to show it correctly. The suit pocket is over his right and the guitarist apparantly plays with his left hand. The original film was back projected onto a ground glass screen. The song is a good 'croon' and sung charmingly. Surely someone knows who he is.

Subject: What's wrong with your neck?
Really liked this soundie. The singer, who unfortunately is unknown, which is a shame, because I really like this song. The soundie however is rather curious as it features too euphoric audience members (check out the girl holding her neck! 2 minutes later.. she's still holding it!) and the lazy film making as they repeat some shots (she's still holding her neck!). I had fun with this soundie.

Subject: same band as 'Soundie_M'
It's the same orchestra as in the above - note the orchestra, the same bandstand and that cheesy grin he flashes to the girl vocalist from the last one. An Ozzie Nelson wannabe, surely.
